MEETING UPDATE BULLETIN
Understandably some of you may be concerned about the possibility that Sunday's earthquake near the Big Island of Hawaii has affected our plans and activities on Maui for the upcoming meeting starting on October 22 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Other than a few minor power and roadway disruptions, the Island of Maui is essentially business as usual. Flights into airports are on schedule and the Hyatt hotel is 100% operational. We currently do not know of nor expect any problems related to this earthquake to adversely affect our meeting. We look forward to seeing you all in Maui!

NOTE: PRE-REGISTRATION HAS NOW COME TO AN END. ALL FURTHER REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE ON-SITE. PLEASE DO NOT FAX IN REGISTRATION FORMS AT THIS TIME.

DRESS CODE NOTE: The dress code in Hawaii is Island casual - no ties or suits. Recommended attire for session presenters and social events are slacks and aloha shirts. This includes Physicans and Exhibitors.

NOTE: The exhibit hall is currently SOLD OUT! We will, however, be forming a waiting list for any companies who wish to utilize it.

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

The Western Section AUA will hold its 82nd Annual Meeting this year in Maui, Hawaii at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa on October 22-27, 2006 . We invite you, your spouse or guest(s), your family and the health professionals among your staff to come enjoy first-rate educational programs and classy social events.

Family and spouse/ guest activities are being planned. Children under the age 6 are admitted free to most events provided they are accompanied by a registered parent. Click here for the WSAUA Children's program and policies. There will be child-rate tickets for certain events for children bewteen the ages of 6 and 12. However, we ask that you please register your Spouse and/or Guest so they can enjoy the full benefits of the meeting along with you! In addition to the activities below, each registered Spouse or Guest will receive a name badge for admittance to the Family Hospitality Lounge, the exhibit hall activities and the scientific programs. Later that evening get decked out for formal dining and dancing during the President's Banquet. A ticket to this event is also part of the package!

Meeting registration and forms for you and your spouse or guest(s) are almost ready to be mailed. Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Practice Administrators are also welcome to attend and will have a special registration category.
