Sports Day Saguaro Lake Ranch
Monday, October 29, 2007

This is a “must do” for those of you who are not golfing. Set in one of Arizona's most magnificent scenic areas with a panoramic view that encompasses the Bulldog and Superstition Mountains - the wilderness made famous by the writings of Zane Grey, the Ranch is literally and figuratively a vacation oasis on the banks of the Salt River. For our group only, we have reserved the historic Saguaro Lake Ranch, one of Arizona's hidden treasures, and one of the most scenic guest ranches in the Southwest. About a 45 minute bus drive from the hotel, we will escape to this unique facility where there are a variety of fun activities at the Ranch, including guided hiking, or you can add horseback riding or kayaking for an additional fee. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take a scenic hike (with or without guide) to the petroglyphs and surrounding trails or take a narrated paddleboat ride on the "Desert Belle" above the Stewart Mountain Dam. In any event, prepare for a sun-filled day with good friends and a memorable time for you or your entire family.
